not an Evolution revolution!
I have been delaying and delaying the upgrade from Modx Evolution to Revolution for a while, but finally got round to doing it!
Tools such as Provisioner made it fairly easy to move the bulk of the pages, chunks and snippets, but to be honest, much of it had to be re-written anyway, so it was more for a reference that I took those over
The Package Manager is a breeze to use and made it really easy to install the various add-ons I needed. The documentation for the add-ons could probably use an update as it does take a couple of re-reads to figure things out - mind you, I'm no real programmer, so some bits may make perfect sense to other people! :D
I've done some re-styling on the blog lists, and done an date-archive and category archive listing on the blog home page, and a put in a funky little calendar icon for the published date as well! I've reading up on CSS so just had to practice my skills!!
The last major pieces to do is the gallery and a contact form, although the latter is probably easiest, it's the least important! So, bear with me while I figure out the gallery and in the meantime, thanks for reading!
