Wizard Nebula
This is from early October, when the UK suffered a mini-heat wave (after that rubbish summer!)
I'm claiming that I've not had a chance to capture the SII and OIII data as yet, when in fact I do have the data sets. What I don't have are the flat fields for them, because I made some school-boy errors!
Firstly, with the SII.... my new 36mm filters turned up and in my eagerness to put them in the filter wheel, I had forgotten to take the flats with the 1.25 inch one!
Then with the OIII, I took the camera and filter wheel off the scope, again, before taking the flats
I've yet to process the two sets, but without calibration frames, I'm wondering what they'll look like! I bet Pixinsight has a magic tool for 'emergency flats' - we'll see!
So this is the Ha data only
- 13 x 1800 seconds of Ha, OIII, SIII
- 21 flat frames, 51 Bias frames, no darks
- ED80 + SXVF-H9 + SX FW + SX Lodestar
- EQ6 + EQASCAM
- Orchestrated with CCD Commander
- Acquired, guided, calibrated in Maxim
- Processed in Pixinsight and CS5
