come on clouds! Go!!!
I have an increasing to-do list of objects that I want to image with the new camera, but as usual, the weather is not co-operating with my schedule!!
Everyone knows the frustration of having new kit that you can't use because the clouds won't go away, so I have been busy in other ways...
- Tidied out the observatory, decluttered!
- Made new longer power cable for the camera
- Taken Bias frames and produced Master Bias ready for calibration library
- Updated and patched software on laptop
- Updated field of view calculators for new camera
Should be ready for the new season now!!
I also need to redo the articles I started on FocusMax with my ED80 and FocusPal hardware. There is an updated FocusMax that I need to download and start playing with. Would be really good to get this done once and for all and to know that automatic focusing is no longer a thing of dreams!!
And I managed to get a couple of 'first-light' test images which I must upload....
